Restarting

So it broke on me. I'm not sure where the errors are coming from - actually I have a pretty good idea - but the game is starting to not like me. I don't want to move again and I'm barely into the challenge at all.

So I removed the mod that I think was causing the errors to flare up every millisecond and am trying this over. (Even after removing the mod on the old save the errors were still coming in at like 90+/minute.) It was the moodfix mod I love so dearly - but for the most part the permanently elated bug can be quickly rectified.

I choose Moon Base Charlie. Once again I'm rolling through the easy start - after much deliberation, I decided that would be best.

This time I rolled a 6 - the hardest decision ever. Finally, I chose Education: It's a Tier 1 lift for a very good reason - picking your traits - but it's a nuisance to level after the first generation - I can work with the others later.

I hate lifts that require a whole lot of 'being happy' for the starting ranks.

Unfortunately, the one thing I struggle with is leveling up the business career track.

I am one of many to be trained for the expedition to the new base. It's on a moon, they say - most of the work is already done by machines who landed there ages ago. In my case, I am learning everything our broken world has to offer as quickly as I can, as I am tasked with bringing my knowledge to enlighten the masses. Or, in this case, the small handful of people who will be coming with me.

They tell me the testing is supposed to improve my capacities, make me smarter, stronger, better.

Mostly it just makes me itch ....
